This paper analyses the extent of corruption within public administrations. It aims to provide some insights into how corruption within public administrations can be combated. The paper reveals that Congolese public administrations are riddled with corruption, particularly within the police, customs, justice and tax authorities. To combat this phenomenon, the paper proposes innovative preventive and repressive approaches. Policy-makers, experts and academics will therefore find potential solutions in this work.
