Questo lavoro si concentra sulla valorizzazione dei sottoprodotti delle olive e in particolare della sansa. Nel primo capitolo, quindi, viene presentata una sintesi bibliografica sulla sansa e sui margini di oliva, sulle loro origini e sui loro diversi usi, consolidata da uno studio statistico sulla produzione mondiale, marocchina e regionale. L’estrazione di lignine e tannini, l’identificazione dei campioni e i diversi metodi sperimentali sono descritti nel secondo capitolo. Il terzo capitolo è dedicato al tentativo di formulare la colla e all’elaborazione di materiale biologico a partire dai prodotti estratti. L’ultimo capitolo è dedicato allo studio delle sue proprietà meccaniche. Concludiamo con le conclusioni e le prospettive.
