What is the frontier? There are several, the author contends. On the political frontier, it is the Church’s duty to sensitize the conscience of a nation, to insure equal rights and privileges for all. The Church is also desperately needed on the cultural frontier where the march of events has shattered a secularistic world view. But the ultimate problems of the Church are on the missionary frontier. Unity is not enough – and he continues, “evangelistic fervor is needed, a passion to make Jesus Christ known and loved, and obeyed among men.”
