Ważne jest zrozumienie zastosowanych rozwiązań, poznanie ich funkcjonowania w odniesieniu do lokalnego klimatu, a także ich odporności i trwałości. Głównym celem będzie zidentyfikowanie i scharakteryzowanie systemów budowlanych i organizacji trzech wiosek w Parku Narodowym Gorongosa.
