My book, Caught Up, is a story made up of twelve short stories. Each chapter has its own characters, its own mood, its own setting, and its own story-line. Each chapter takes place in a different US city. Every character in Caught Up is between the ages of twelve and nineteen years old. Each chapter talks about how the teens feel about themselves, their family and friends, life and God. At the end of every chapter, the main characters disappear based on their feelings about God, and whether or not they are friends with him.Caught Up deals with every issue from a teen's perspective: from 'normality' (yeah right!) to Gothica, black magic to drugs and alcohol, Christian and secular music, wrist-slitting and suicide to the elements of 'salvation', weddings, funerals, date rape, murder, video games, sex, pedophilia, and homosexuality to the 'straight life.'But if you are ready to be challenged, if you are tired of being picked on, if you are ready for a much-needed change in the boring library of Father Time's literary collection, and if you are tired of buying or getting books written by old people who don''t give a crap about you or your perspective, buy this book. But I'm warning you- be open-minded or else !If you're still holding this book, you are a brave soul and I have tons of respect for you. So give in and buy my book already! Geez!
