Camino del Diablo:  Path of the Devil es una historia basada en hechos reales que ocurrieron de 1991-1996.  El agente de la DEA Larry Hardin y dos investigadores privados, Jeff Pearce y Randy Torgeson, decidieron abatir a la organizacion Garcia, un notorio cartel de la droga que operaba a lo largo de la frontera suroeste de los Estados Unidos. Durante cinco años estos tres hombres encabezaron investigaciones separadas pero simultáneas en diferentes ubicaciones del país. Jeff and Randy daban informacion a Larry para ayudarle a construir su caso, una vez que ellos averiguaron que este cartel estaba vinculado con empleados corruptos de una empresa de uno de sus clientes.  La organizacion Garcia atentó contra la vida de dos agentes de la DEA (1970’s) y tambien fueron vinculados con el asesinato de Kiki Camarena, George Montoya, Paul Seema, Jose Montoya, Dan Elkins, and Michael Crow.  Larry tenia como mission el encausar y procesar judicialmente a la organzacion Garcia.
