In this book, I have made clear that by making small adjustments andmodifications to lessons, teachers can make a great change instudent outcomes. By being aware of and using the four learningmodels, habits of mind and the four learning spaces, the student andthe teacher will benefit. In addition to the awareness and use of knowledge of information inthis book, teachers must continually research and search on aconsistent basis new ways to make learning meaningful. To beeffective, teachers must have as many tools as possible in their toolchest. If teachers have these tools available, the result is the creationof lessons that will fit the circumstances at hand. The teacher will provide an environment that will be custom fit for aparticular class, group of students or event. The teacher and studentswill have a well tailored lesson plan for that particular situation. Therefore; within that particular context and learning environment, theteacher will be able to address the needs of the students and fosterefficient on task learning for the group intended. The result of thisawareness of the various learning tools and knowledge will result in'working smarter, not harder.'
