Das Buch befasst sich mit dem Thema 'Abfallwirtschaft in der Gemeinde Montepuez: eine Bewertung des derzeitigen Managements', das in den Forschungsbereich 'Abfallwirtschaft' fällt. Die Untersuchung wurde im Rahmen des Masterstudiengangs durchgeführt und hat folgendes Ziel: Bewertung der Effizienz der derzeitigen Formen der Abfallwirtschaft in der Gemeinde Montepuez, da diese die Effizienz der Abdeckung der Abfallsammeldienste beeinflusst. In Anbetracht dieser Situation stellt sich die folgende Frage: Inwieweit kann die Abfallwirtschaft Nachhaltigkeit gewährleisten? Mit Hilfe der durchgeführten Studien können neue nachhaltige Formen der Abfallbewirtschaftung angenommen werden, die eine Maximierung der Wiederverwendung und des Recyclings garantieren, wodurch die Umweltauswirkungen verringert und eine effektive Erst- und Endentsorgung gewährleistet werden.
