Praca ta powstała na brzegu rzeki Chari w Ndżamenie. Wpisany w piaszczysto-gliniaste gleby holocenu. Zajmuje się geomorfologicznym dostosowaniem brzegów niskoenergetycznego hydrosystemu. Zachodzące zmiany są wywołane czynnikami wewnętrznymi i/lub zewnętrznymi. Chociaż w większości odpowiadają one holoceńskim i czwartorzędowym dziedzictwom morfoklimatycznym, to jednak cechy doliny są zdeterminowane przez regionalny system morfostrukturalny. Rysunki, przekroje i profile topograficzne zbudowanych i płynących koryt głównych rzek wskazują, że ich zróżnicowanie w znacznym stopniu wyjaśnia zmiany form koryt w kierunku z prądem rzeki oraz charakterystykę dynamiki fluwialnej. Badania dynamiki fluwialnej w holocenie wskazują, że obecna struktura morfologiczna równiny aluwialnej została zdecydowanie ukształtowana w czwartorzędzie.
