O rendimento do extracto de T. stans floweretanolic foi de 4,85%. O extracto foi rastreado de forma qualitativa para fitoquímicos. Os resultados do rastreio fitoquímico preliminar revelaram a presença de terpenóides, alcalóides, glicosídeos cardíacos, taninos, fenóis, flavonóides e esteróides. O rendimento do extracto aquoso de T. stans flower aqueous foi de 3,5%. O extracto foi rastreado de forma qualitativa para fitoquímicos. Os resultados do rastreio fitoquímico preliminar revelaram a presença de saponinas,fenóis,protens. A identificação de fito constituintes presentes no aquoso e etanolico foi realizada por análise U.V, I.R, HPLC. As técnicas de identificação confirmaram a presença de compostos fitoquímicos importantes como flavoinds, fenóis.etc. em ambos os extractos etanolico mostrando a presença de fito compostos principais.
