As every nation strives to develop its national values on the basis of its own goals and objectives, and at the same time, on the basis of the achievements of universal development, the issue of historical memory is of particular importance in this regard. That is, if the sense of historical memory is fully restored, the path traveled by the nation with all its successes and victories, losses and sacrifices, joys and aspirations is studied objectively and truthfully. Development of time, changes in social life lead to changes in all areas of the language to one degree or another. Such a change is more noticeable at the lexical level of the language. Another large branch of obsolete words is archaisms. They are a small group of historicisms that are somewhat similar to historical words. Archaisms differ from historical words in that these words can be replaced by their synonyms.
