These miniature drawings are my ‘coffee spoons’ to measure out my life with, to quote T.S. Eliot. They comprise a storyboard chronicle of lost time and a record of a time almost regained.I started drawing faces on sticky notes as a way to keep working creatively while I was away from the studio. Soon it became an inexorable habit and a way to work despite the wasted time and redeem the stolen moments. This daily practice evolved into an artist journal.
