Da noch immer gravierende Lücken und Grauzonen im internationalen Recht vorhanden sind, sollen Verantwortungsbereiche von UN-Organen aufgezeigt, vorhandene Rechtsdokumente vorgestellt und analysiert, sowie Lösungsansätze diskutiert werden. Die Diskussion der gegenwärtigen Relevanz staatlicher Souveränität und Möglichkeiten für humanitäre Intervention sind ein zentrales Thema dieser Arbeit. Ziel ist es herauszufinden, welche UN-Organe eine Überarbeitung ihrer Verantwortungsbereiche anstreben sollten und wie diese konkret umgesetzt werden können. Es werden Sichtweisen aus Migrationsanthropologie, International Relations und Organisationsanthropologie gegenübergestellt, um die Veränderungspotentiale des UN-Schutzsystems für Internally Displaced Persons aufzuzeigen.This thesis aims to create a general survey of the contemporary UN protection system for internally displaced persons. As there are still serious gaps and grey areas in international law, a discussion about areas of responsibility of UN organizations as well as the analysis of existing legal documents for the protection of internally displaced persons are of prime importance. Also discussions about the actual justification of sovereignty and possibilities for humanitarian intervention are a central topic of this thesis. It is questioned which UN organizations should rethink their areas of responsibility. Perspectives from anthropology of migration, the field of International Relations and anthropology of organizations are opposed for demonstrating how to implement changes in the current UN system for the protection of internally displaced persons.
