AM Fungi and Phosphate solubilizing bacteira is engaged in improving the growth and yield of various field crops. Helps more in the crop growth and shows a high variation in yield compared to normal practices. Further Phosphorous and Pottasium is one of the essential for the growth and development.Plants can utilize phosphorus only in soluble inorganic form and hence the organic phosphorus cannot be utilized by the plants. To overcome this phosphorus deficiency in soils, phosphorus fertilizer are applied to the crop. Phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) are ubiquitous in soils and render these insoluble phosphates into soluble form. AM fungi are obligatory symbiotic soil fungi which form a mutualistic symbiosis with the roots of plants, which mobilize the available form of phosphorus. Thus, AM fungi and phosphobacterial inoculation enhances the growth and development of the brinjal crop.
