The final chapter in this story finds our heroes traveling to the Andromeda Galaxy to investigate an Earth-like planet. This is a family affair, both with the human race’s first couple who share their intelligence with their Shared Biologic counterpart Lieutenant C, Jeff’s former best friend and commanding officer, a whole world apart when Seargent JJ, now Jeff, was in the Rangers. What new mysteries will be revealed in this adventure, and what new facts will be divulged about Paul, the newest member of the crew of IPA, a leftover biological entity that survived the AI takeover of an alien entire race? We were six weeks away from our destination and four weeks into our journey to the cosmos. We had all participated in identifying what pieces of ourselves and our past we wanted to bring with us, but we never considered boredom. The older crew members had experienced bouts of boredom in their lives, but Jeff and Kim’s daughter Alesha and her husband were too young, and their lives were too expanding to have anything close to the boredom they were feeling at the moment.
