ALESPE, Sertão e Poesia é uma Antologia de Poesia Popular Brasileira, produzida a partir de três motes (temas do poema contendo os dois últimos versos de uma estrofe de dez versos) pertencente ao cordel brasileiro moderno. Criados pelos poetas: Dedé Monteiro, Silvano Lyra, Parru Kehrle Medeiros e um galope a beira mar sobre o tema preservação do meio ambiente. Esta obra conta com a participação de 73 poetas e poetisas de todas as regiões brasileiras, sobretudo do Nordeste. O que faz com que este livro conte com braços gigantes a abraçar simbolicamente todo o Brasil. Aqui os leitores têm oportunidades de manterem contato com o pensamento de poetas e poetisas de várias regiões sobre os mesmos temas como por exemplo saudade, identidade cultural e até o meio ambiente, são 292 poesias distintas, cada uma com o toque, a holística e a genialidade distinta de cada poeta. O objetivo do livro é fazer o leitor viajar na seara da poesia popular.
