Huntington’s is a fairly devastating neuro-degenerative disease. This condition is well studied and is, at present, incurable. It is a brain disorder that damages some specific types of neurons, leading to degeneration in several parts of the brain causing them to lose their function. This results in uncontrolled movements, loss of intellectual abilities and behavioral disturbances. Since the mutation causes have been discovered, there have been several important advancements in understanding the cellular and molecular agitations. This book consists of current knowledge on a wide variety of issues involving this disease.
