When I was just a pup and working for an well known New Mexico architect in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he took a liking to me and spent personal time teaching me renderings. In those days it was pencil, colored pencil or watercolor. He gave me this advice: ’Someone has to start you and someone has to stop you.’ That someone, I realized, was me.
