 This book contains four screenplays and one stage play dealing with tragedy, comedy, and a variety of world settings, compassion, romance and fantasy. They are all in “play” format. “Wave of Destiny” is a script for a full length movie and has had the trailer produced at Lake Tahoe. “What’s in a Name” is an hour teleplay. “The Pepper Grinder” is a stage play that the writer has produced and directed at the CommRow in Reno, NV in July 2012. “A Writer’s Mind” is based on a collection of a variety of short stories that culminated as a novel “From An Ensenada Window” but has been transformed into play format. The Author lived in Lanzhou, Gansu, China for two years. “Chinese Blossom Notes” is a play designed to be a movie based on some of the impressions of that stay.  The playwright, RONALD LEE HANCOCK, is a M.D.Biochemist who has done fifty years of research and has published 125 papers in the field of cancer biochemistry. He has written several other books; a novel, a bio-philosophy book, a mathematical biology book, poetry and his autobiography. He has been on the faculties of the University of Chicago, The Jackson Laboratory for Cancer and Genetics, University of Calgary, Lanzhou University, Riyad University and The University of Nevada. Some of the author’s hobbies include jazz singing, theater, opera, ultra-running, oil painting, and is a licensed pilot and a veteran of the Korean War. He currently resides in Reno, NV with his wife, Marit.
