The elephant herd knows the fundamnetal basics for keeping children safe. Protecting the children is the job of the Mother Elephant. The mother elephant is not only the one who birthed the baby elephant but every woman in the herd.The job of women elephants as they walk in the middle of the pack is to protect the young elephants. The elder elephants are called grandmothers even if they have no babies. The younger elephants fall in line based on age, which determines their seniority. Every woman elephant has a role in the family herd. In life, whether you have children, adult children, young babies, or deceased children, you have a role in the Kingdom of God. As women of faith, we have an assignment to care for the Body of Christ, and to those who have been gifted with a mothering spirit, you have the heart of God to mother! I want to encourage you with 12 examples of how we can mother the hurting, heal from our experiences as a mother or child, and what we can do to build up children to live the lives Yah (God) intended.
