The book is a comparative Study of singular, plural and dual numbers in nouns of English and Nigerian Arabic. It studied 180 nouns in accordance with the 19 rules of plural formation in English. It reviews nouns in English, number inflection, plural formation in English nouns, bilingualism, number description in Nigerian Arabic nouns, English and Nigerian Arabic as well as English and Standard Arabic comparative Studies. It discussed traditional grammar theory on which the analysis of the data is based. It explained the method used in collecting, presenting and analyzing the data. It presented and analyzed the data simultaneously, in English and Nigerian Arabic, in tabular form and interpreted them in terms of the similarities and differences as well as similarities and differences in the formation of singular, plural and dual numbers. It reveals that out of the 180 nouns analyzed, 44 exhibited elements of similarities, 87 are of differences while 49 are both of similarities and differences between common, collective, regular, irregular, compound and dual number of English and Nigerian Arabic nouns.
