''A Book of Princeton Verse 1916'' is a collection of poems edited by Alfred Noyes, originally published in 1916. The book features works from various authors who were students or alumni of Princeton University, including F. Scott Fitzgerald and Edmund Wilson. The poems cover a range of themes, from nature and love to war and social commentary. Noyes provides an introduction that contextualizes the collection and discusses the literary traditions at Princeton. This book offers a glimpse into the literary culture of early 20th century Princeton and the voices of its student poets.1916. Princeton poets whose work appears in this volume include: Hamilton Fish Armstrong; John Peale Bishop; Henry Chapin; Sayers Coe; Robert P. Coffin; Philip L. Coffin; William Brewer Connett; James Creese; Pierson Curtis; W. Stanley Dell; Harrington Green; Brooks Henderson; Raymond Peckham Holden; Herbert Jones; Isidor Kaufman; George B. Logan, Jr.; Francis Charles MacDonald; John S. Nicholas; Ainsworth O’Brien-Moore; Percy Rivington Pyne, Jr.; Samuel Moor Shoemaker, Jr.; George Rippey Stewart, Jr.; Keene Wallis; T.K.
