Bren Berry was really reluctant to leave her young children and go into the classroom of older children. Since she had several nieces and nephews, she thought she knew what to expect. But boy was she surprised. They were ready for her with all kinds of tricks up their sleeves. While this is a fun look at children entering middle school, some of the events depicted in this book actually happened in the classroom or in her presence. She is just grateful that she survived to tell you about them.
