Autobiography: Born in Kingston, Jamaica, where I grew up, life was tough, but I passed through the worst. I graduated from a secondary school in 1977, and through a program called Youth Service, I taught at the same school with the help of some of my teachers for one year. At the end of the program, I was hired by the Ministry of Education as a pretrained teacher from 1978-1981. At the end of the summer holidays of the same year, 1981, I started my nursing career and graduated in 1984 as a registered nurse, worked till 1988, then immigrated to Canada where I had to sit through their exam before I could work as a registered nurse again. In 1995, I immigrated to the United States of America and have worked as a registered nurse since.Book synopsis: This book should give everyone the opportunity to put some savings in place, whether utilizing the $10-per-day plan or an amount that will be comforting in the pocket. As mentioned throughout, if the savings plan formula is used with any amount, then at the end, which could mean retirement or the end of a set goal, some accumulation of funds will be available. With the proper use of the worksheet, accurate records can be kept of the money going into the savings plan, and the total can be seen at all times. The words in the puzzle are enhancing words that will assist in the savings process and will serve as a reminder for positive outcomes. Saving should be practiced among the young and the old, more so the young, because starting early will lead to more at the end of a set period. Don’t hesitate; start now before it’s too late. Always remember not to borrow or lend from this saving plan because once this practice started, it can lead to disaster in the plan. Saving should be fun and not stressful; the more fun an individual has during the process, the better the reward will be. Everyone should be competitive with himself or herself. Set goals and aim at reaching them. Don’t wait; just do it. 3
