La intimidación es una práctica cruel que afecta las vidas de los niños todos los días, a veces a manos de sus propios padres, hermanos y compañeros. Esta cuestión debe abordarse de manera que los niños puedan denunciar este tipo de abuso sin temor a represalias.  Después de asistir al Día de la Carrera en una escuela local, me encontré cara a cara con una de sus víctimas más pequeñas. Hice la siguiente pregunta a los estudiantes: “Si tuvieras que escribir tu propio libro hoy, ¿cuál sería el título de tu libro?” Una hermosa niña tituló su papel BULLY/ACOSO. Estaba profundamente conmovido por esto e inmediatamente supe ese mismo día que algo debía hacerse. Ahí es cuando nació “Yo Cuento”. 3
